In art last week we looked at other artists artwork and we commented what we liked and what primary and secondary colours they have used. We had lots of fun working together and seeing colour artwork.

Yesterday we became Victorian servants. We had to go and collect water for a bath with lots of walking with heavy buckets. We washed some clothes and hung them out to dry. We also bashed a rug to make sure it was clean. It was lots of hard work!

Last week we read chapter 2 in Georges marvellous medicine, George was talking about an explosion. So we decided to try it ourselves. We had some coke and mentos, we put the mentos in the coke and it exploded! @DeltaStrand
Yesterday we were building bridges and tested to see which one was the strongest. Well done to our winning team! Their bridge lasted 3minutes. #DeltaScienceWeek24
Yesterday we were trying Mexican food. We had chicken, lettuce, tomatoes and salsa in taco shells. We really enjoyed tasting these and really like the salsa 🇲🇽

This morning we read a new page of our story ‘the owl who is afraid of the dark.’ We spoke about what it would be like to be around a campfire and what we could do around a campfire. We then did a hot seat where the children asked the boy questions about the dark.@DeltaStrand
