Last thing. Caiti saying “there are so many more women affected” “why do think so many people have dropped them behind the scenes” is about the most petty, disingenuous thing out of all of this. If there are other people hurt, why are you speaking for them? You got upset when Harry nearly spoke for you, so why are you speaking for them? Why bring it up?

Why speak for them if they’re not ready to be spoken for? As for the people dropping him ‘behind the scenes’ no one really did that, afaik. They all stuck around until well after the allegations came out. Rues friend Tommy was Dream defender number one until all that stuff with usmp/qsmp happened, and then he wasn’t (probably cause he thought Dream wasn’t going to get him content anymore, but I digress). Anyway. My point is, don’t speak for others when you’re claiming to be a victim yourself (even though she wasn’t one. She can be regretful, but she’s not a victim). And don’t say all these people have dropped others unless you’re going to drop proof. Why are people so keen on saying shit like that with nothing to back it up? Bring receipts. Stop using buzzwords and shit before actually bringing proof. I’m not going to blindly believe things.

TLDR; they both have things to learn from, but she wasn’t a victim of assault and George didn’t have ill intent. This shouldn’t have been made public, and how other CCs handled it was inappropriate and reeked of negative bias.

Irl take of this situation:

I think this should have been handled privately. This was just a bunch of miscommunications, misunderstandings, and not enough sobriety. Too many people got involved, too many opinions from certain people were shared which may have affected how she went about this. I wish she would have reached out to him privately, but based off her responses, she has no desire to do so, and I don’t think she even watched the vod, tbh-nothing she’s posted has really added anything new to the conversation at all, except for the fact people did reach out and Dream knew they were next to each other but not the extent of what was happening.

Her friends failed her because she was the youngest there and they should have been looking out for her. Like they’ve both said, they had just met. How are either of them supposed to know anything about the other, nevermind expect him to somehow watch over her? He was drunk too (“drunk people can’t consent” applies to both parties, people and is namely used in cases of rape. Gross misuse of that term for sure. I’m not even going to touch on nonverbal consent cause that’s also very much a thing, but they didn’t have sex so these are just misused). She came there drunk and continued to do so whilst there. They went to hang out with them in that room, so for her to spin this narrative like he’s some evil mastermind who was preying on her is just disingenuous. Her friends should have 100% been watching her, making sure she was good. But they left her in that room with him, because to their knowledge, nothing bad was happening. Everyone was drunk.

I think her showing the DMs proves how fake her supposed friends are. Why did a they all reach out after everything? Why did the people who weren’t there reach out after that night? If they cared or noticed she was uncomfortable, like she claims they did, why was she still there hours after they left and why didn’t they say something sooner?

It’s just coming off as petty from her, and while I do fully support her feeling regret and uncomfortable now, if you’re going to accuse people of heinous, criminally offensive things, you need to tell everything. Show everything. Don’t leave out any details. The way she’s responding and acting is leading me to believe she doesn’t even truly know what exactly happened that night, and seems like she’s being spoon fed stuff from a certain group of people because of their bias against another certain group of people. That whole group reacted poorly to that, and if those closest to her, those who were there don’t really know what happened either, I think that’s telling.

George one-hundred percent needs to change how he approaches and acts around potential partners, as well as what he says about women in general. But he’s not a bad person or a predator or an assaulter like the witch hunt is making him out to be. Dream didn’t need to be dragged into this, cause he showed (and was backed by caitis bff) that he had no knowledge of anything happening. That whole UK group of CCs are about some of the most fakest, performative assholes I’ve ever had the displeasure of knowing about. “Support victims” but the second you find out people are hanging out with the Dteam you ‘reach out’ in case something happened? You make grooming jokes, rape jokes, necrophilia jokes, say “grooming allegations aren’t bad” but then denounce completely dream on Twitter where your hive mind audience can see it? Max, rue, Harry, and Aismey need to grow the fuck up and either learn to communicate personal grievances with those involved, or develop a backbone and stop letting their audience puppeteer them.
