Quiet week so far in terms of news on the evolution of the situation;
Mass raids and search’s for resistants still ongoing.
Niyso keeps mentioning the « group of mujahiddîn » while Chalaev is still posting stories mainly related to the topic.
He added that Azhiev acted for the 'benefit of the Chechens' (excusing him as usual) before reiterating that his sole target was NIYSO, whom he vowed to turn into 'rabbits.’
Abductions and raids are intensifying, with even personal sources reporting several kidnappings, particularly outside mosques. The search for jama'ah members is still ongoing, and NIYSO's statement that no mujahid has been captured yet seems to be confirmed by these measures.
Z.Chalaev posted a new post in which he says the government offers a $100,000 reward for information on the whereabouts of "wanted terrorists". He also promised a "safe return to a peaceful life for radicalized individuals who have not yet committed violent crimes."
🚨 NIYSO just reported that the uprising is led by 30 mujahiddîn. Whole Chechnya is under maximal alert.
The info comes from contacts from within the regime’s employees.
Anyways, so far, all the reports they made have been corroborated by the russian security forces and Chalaev’s stories (Turpal’s notice, his death, Tchernorechye fights, the research’s still being conducted, etc…).
To be followed closely.
General overview of the live :
NIYSO basically followed the usual format of their lives (Q/A), focused on the recent events. A lot was said in terms of duty to resist and of how « Turpal has woke up the hearts of a lot of young people ready to fight in Chechnya. »
As for the « written announcement of an Amir », they didn’t talk about it today.
I honestly don’t think that they just hyped it up - given the status of NIYSO and Kadyrov’s propaganda, this would be too big of a bet. There may have been a security or personal protection’s issue.
Government’s own propaganda group "MARSHO" too started a live on telegram at the same hours to counter NIYSO’s one. It notably got relayed by Chalaev in his story, probably knowing a lot of young people will be listening to NIYSO tonight
@macino36668523 In the flatlands of Chechnya, I would say that something of this scale (supposedly 30 freedom fighters currently) has not happened since ~2010. From the 2010s to today, the attacks were mainly lone-wolf ones, or on a much smaller scale in terms of jama’ah (6 to 10 insurgents).
The first part is focused on the hukm (religious judgement and validity) of Turpal-‘Ali’s resistance and the refutation of Russian security force’s stance and version of the story.
Chechen men who escaped Russia’s army describe beatings, extortion and the front line used as punishment. Their commanders collect medals and money. These men arranged their surrender and survived. Our sons’ lives do not belong to Putin.
This is getting extremely interesting…
NIYSO planned a live for Saturday during which they will discuss about « the comeback of the mujahiddîn in Chechnya », if « insurgency came back in Chechnya ? », and what we have to expect as for the evolution of the situation.
