What an honor to spend time today with our teachers and school counselors in Duval county as we celebrate and talked about the need for additional resources in our schools and how we can all help students who are in need of additional resources to reach their goals. #NSCW24

We are still celebrating our school counselors! I want to focus today on our counselors that are serving in our rural and urban school districts. We see you! A lack of resources and under funding are daily barriers in these schools but we applaud your efforts. #NSCW2024

The ASCA considers parental involvement a crucial part of student success and has included resources for school counselors to increase parents and teachers involvement in student success. #FSUSC #SCCHAT

School counseling can be done in either group or individual settings based on the students needs and school counselors should be trained and using tools provided by the ASCA to carry out these sessions. #FSUSC #SCCHAT

The ASCA model helps school counselors direct eligible students to enroll in Advance Placement and college preparatory programs to prepare for post secondary graduation success. #FSUSC #SCCHAT
