@AstridTHuntress@hrsheys_tent_yt She does it for different reasons as she’s doing here, it’s already been established how her mom is one of the biggest catalyst as to why she made the hotel to live up to her image so she can be proud of her. Would that not make sense that she is affected by that mentality?
@binks_legoman@rosesnwinee To add on with her own personal issues with her mother and how this also propagates how she handles the hotel as she’s trying to reflect her image, because if she does, she believes she would come back and maybe explain as to why she left her and Lucifer.
@binks_legoman@rosesnwinee That she is capable of redeeming sinners only to put other people in jeopardy for her own ambitions, she believes that if she can just explain it to those who doubted her (or rather Vox who antagonizes her) that she might be able to be valued, but she can’t
@Gojirakotm19@VaggieIsBae It seems as if the way Charlie and Lucifer fight, they’re not traditional fighters, generals with combat experience. Just ppl using whatever hacks in their arsenal to do what they can. So again, why would a transformation be important here, when they don’t fight like normal?
@Gojirakotm19@VaggieIsBae Charlie is known to be a pacifist, so why would having more power make her a better fighter if she doesn’t actually have any real skill?
Lucifer didn’t even really hit Adam until he arrived and snuck him. And when he does fight he uses magic to dodge him.
@Gojirakotm19@VaggieIsBae Your expectation that you’re placing here, is on a musical about something completely different than what you’re suggesting anyway
@Gojirakotm19@VaggieIsBae My reason I gave is definitive either, that’s just what I think. For all I know it can be used for something different, but I say this because the fights in the series are really not the focus based off what we objectively see. So why should we care about that at all?
@Gojirakotm19@VaggieIsBae What’s wrong with making it so she’s visibly pissed? Again the powers aren’t that important to the show, they’re like secondary at best
@Gojirakotm19@VaggieIsBae The only real thing that made her like stronger, was that demon arm she got. But we don’t know if she can do it by command or not, but it doesn’t matter
@Gojirakotm19@VaggieIsBae To make Charlie look cool for the scene, to show her getting visibly angry and how that might change in her body? Kinda like Angel glows in one scene when he’s getting pissed (iirc) It’s not that plot relevant of a detail
@Gojirakotm19@VaggieIsBae Remember you’re talking about a musical with characters that sing about whatever traumatic or emotional problem or experiences they may have. Fights are not the center of attention nor does powerscaling matter at all in this series. Because it was never the point
@TuxTrus@SUPERBLOWFLY Considering the Hellaverse is extremely queer centric, I don’t think that’s the joke they’re trying to go for. It’s just about the absurdity of a random human fucking a Sasquatch. Not the fact he’s gay, because everyone in this universe is gay
@Squidwards40684 @Norm4165@MarcoManTwitte1 You’re acting as if a script doctor takes up the entire job of the script when the role they play is small, it’s crucial sure but small
@Squidwards40684 @Norm4165@MarcoManTwitte1 Co writers aren’t necessarily the same as script doctors. But she has co writers, some of the highly rated episodes of the series were written by her only, or her and Brandon and sometimes Adam Neylan. She were the top 10
@Squidwards40684 @Norm4165@MarcoManTwitte1 Script doctors are common use in the industry, they just work on things like dialogue and pacing, they don’t reqrite the entire script because they’re not credited to do so.
This is what I mean, yall don’t work in these industries, so how would you know anything
@Norm4165@MarcoManTwitte1 Someone who at least that has written, produced, studied in academia, has more credibility than someone would on Twitter on what is good writing
@Norm4165@MarcoManTwitte1 But we’re not talking about food, we’re talking about filmmaking. Sure you’re making an analogy of some sort, but the average audience member doesn’t know what makes a good film, just what feels good to them
