Q. I heard you first started breakdancing when you were in kindergarten. Did you have any special reason?

🐈‍⬛: Actually, it started when I followed my older sister to a dance academy.
Before that, I had no interest at all. That’s where I first saw b-boy dancing, even though I was young, I thought, "That’s cool, I want to do that too" So I asked my mom to let me attend the academy as well

Q. What has been your happiest memory since coming to Korea?

🐈‍⬛: It’s already been about three years since I came to Korea. The most memorable moment was when I met the fans for the first time. Before our first showcase, I was worried, "Will there really be fans for us?" So when I actually met them, it didn’t feel real. I was overwhelmed thinking, "There are so many people cheering for us like this," made me feel really emotional.

Q. I’ve heard you’re also very good at cooking. What dish are you most confident in?

🐈‍⬛: It used to be carbonara, but that changed. Now, it's Curry rice!
It’s Japanese-style curry rice, and I have my own special ingredient. The secret is soy sauce from my family home. It’s hard to find in Korea, so my mom sends it to me every time

Q. Shall we pick your favorite NEXZ song?

🐈‍⬛: "Ride the Vibe" which we released when we debuted. It’s meaningful because it’s our debut song, and it also matches my usual music taste well. It’s a song that fits perfectly to listen while driving or taking a walk with a relaxed mind

Q. If you could play a NEXZ song for the younger YU who was just learning how to dance, which song would you choose?

🐈‍⬛: I’d choose “Beat-Boxer.” It suits b-boy dancing really well. Even now, it brings out a sense of challenge every time I go on stage

Q. What goals do you want to achieve with the NEXZ members in 2026?

🐈‍⬛: I have two goals. One, is to go on a trip. We’ve never traveled together as members before, so I want us all to try camping in Kyoto.
Second, is to show new stages. I want to put on performances that make even people who don’t know us well say, "Who are these guys? There was a team this good?" I want to show a stage that will truly surprise them
