When we bought a “full ram” here in the UK, I was genuinely excited like yes, Ileya don set 😭❤️

I got home and saw just two small bags of meat… I paused like “wait… this is the full ram?”

Because back home in Naija, full ram is not just meat o. It’s a full experience. The bucket alone is heavy because of everything inside: intestine, saki, fuku, liver, everything arranged like premium package 😂 You’ll even need strategy to carry it.

But here in the UK, it was just… body parts. Clean, neat, packaged like supermarket chicken. No intestine, no saki, no “extras” that make the bucket look like you just came back from a serious mission.

That’s when it hit me: this UK ram is polished edition. Everything extra has been “wiped away” 😭

Honestly, cultural shock entered me small. Because in my head, ram is ram why is this one so “exclusive”? Where is the intestine that makes everything feel complete? Where is the bucket that gives you pride while carrying it home? 😂

Now I just stand there holding my bowl like, “so this is adulthood abroad?”

But we move sha… Ileya is still Ileya. We will cook, enjoy, and act like nothing shocked us 🤝😂
