I've been photographing Swallows over the few weeks on a local family-owned farm, which is part of the higher-level stewardship scheme. The farmowners kindly gave me access to get some shots of the birds on this very aesthetic weather vane @Hertsbirds@HMWTBadger@Natures_Voice
For the last month, I've been documenting a Little Owl nest. Both of the young have now branched out of the nest. As a well-used footpath runs near to the nest, I've been able to quickly position my camera and remotely trigger it from 50m away without disturbing them. @Hertsbirds
The cool and rather bizarre-looking ceramic teeth of an Urchin, which washed ashore on the islet yesterday. Never seen these amazing structures before - you can see how they’re able to chomp their way through almost anything, from kelp to rocks! #azores#beachcombing

“Living in London I regularly visit Richmond Park. I captured this stag and his small harem of females using a wider focal length than usual to display the beautiful environment that the deer inhabit.”
These two females are the last of their kind. When they die, an entire subspecies that inhabited the earth for millions of years will have disappeared forever.
