Shocking information on Uganda's spending reveal a stark contrast between Ministries and Agencies! In 2016, while Ministries had 18,532 employees plus the undisclosed number of soldiers, Agencies had only 3,905, despite similar spending.

Can we improve tax collection to boost Public Service? As we strive for a better Uganda, it's crucial to understand the disparities in Public Service funding. While the European countries collect up to 40% of their GDP in taxes, Uganda's URA has been struggling at just 11%.

With better tax collection, we could significantly increase the resources available for public servants, including teachers and health workers who play vital roles in our communities.
Imagine the impact if we achieved a 20% or even 25% tax revenue! It could lead to transformative changes in infrastructure and services across Uganda.

[Anti Corruption Unit - State House Uganda @AntiGraft_SH]

This afternoon, @AntiGraft_SH working with @CID1_UG and @ODPPUGANDA have arraigned Musoga Robert, before the Chief Magistrates Court in Hoima on charges of Forcible Detainer.

The accused between 2016 and 2024 in Kikuube district, forcefully took possession of land approximately 40 acres, ignoring several judgements including; warrants of execution which were issued by Court and cleared for implementation.

Despite this, the accused continued to illegally take possession of the land, to the detriment of the rightful owner.
He has been remanded until 7/ 11/2024.
