Our weekend recap episode talks about about a close loss for @CPLCavalryFC and a not close loss for @yycwildfc. We have complete audio from Wild manager Sinead McSharry's post match press conference. We also review @AlbertaPLSoccer weekend matches as well. https://t.co/1MfgRwLvMm
Both Max Piepgrass and James McGlinchey started for @CPLCavalryFC II in @AlbertaPLSoccer tonight so I think it's very unlikely they will dress for the senior side tomorrow.
I noticed that @izzy_monck started for @yycwildfc U23 team in @AlbertaPLSoccer tonight. We've been speculating for a while that she would be a good addition for the Wild. Maybe our prediction is starting to come true.
๐ Nyema Ingleton has been called up to the Jamaican Senior National Team. ๐ฏ๐ฒ
The defender from Calgary will be entering her senior season at West Virginia this fall. She previously represented Canada at the youth level, and came through the Whitecaps Elite REX Program.
We preview @CPLCavalryFC vs @HFXWanderersFC on Saturday. Our interview is with Francesco Bartolillo who is head coach of Cavs II and leader of their academy. @AlbertaPLSoccer updates, @yycwildfc on int'l break https://t.co/3GE8OPjXri
And just a few minutes after I took this photo Tommy Wheeldon Jr walked by where I was sitting. Who would think we would run into each other amongst 46,000 plus people.
In our latest episode we talk about the vastly different trajectories of Calgary's pro clubs. @CPLCavalryFC are top of the table while @yycwildfc is stuck in the basement. We preview their matches this weekend as well as @AlbertaPLSoccer action. https://t.co/UJV7duQDX3

๐ Canada Soccer's U20 squad has called in 22 players for a June Camp in Spain. This will be the second and final camp for this group prior to the U20 World Cup in Poland in September.
The group's previous camp in Costa Rica in April saw an expanded 30-player roster.
@RZalischuk@WsoccerCa The Wild started as a Foothills project, but early on it was spun off into its own corporate entity. The connections diminished rapidly and I don't think there's much there now. They use Soccer Centre to train not Macron so that give you an idea they aren't that close.
@RZalischuk@WsoccerCa The executive seemed to hand Bedford total control of football matters when Bruch left (was removed?). I planned to ask her about recruiting plan but never had chance. She definitely had connections in England but no evidence of any networks in Canada or elsewhere else.
@RZalischuk@WsoccerCa The only person added in offseason that could have player knowledge and connections could be Kennedi Kiarash, who was an assistant coach for Tides last year. She was hired to run academy and youth development.
