I wasn't fond of C-fantasy drama..i knew it's fake but the falseness was too much for me, mainly caused by bad CGI & I can't stand those weak childish FLs with coquettish voice
凡人修仙传 is a male centric genre, which only has light romance and more live action
This fits me well

I love how director and team emphasized the beautiful scenery of many places in China.. unlike many fantasy c-dramas it's not the CGI one
It gives a sense of how the world of mortal people was actually an immortal world for others.. 2 dimensions lived together
