The sister straight-up asked Ḥijāb if rejecting ʿulūw is an acceptable disagreement or an innovation. Ḥijāb proceeds to spend 5 minutes not answering it.
It's very amusing to me when Ummahtards & Free Syrians glaze and lionize Saddam because he's been reinvented as the "anti Iran anti Shia crusader" by Qatari & Saudi media after 2003.
In reality if Saddam were still around, they'd never stop whining about him.
He sided with India against Pakistan;
He sided with the Lebanese Phlanagists against the other factions in Lebanon including Muslims & Palestinians;
He bombed "Muslim brother countries" like Saudi, Qatar, and Kuwait;
He supported the communist Dhofar rebellion against the Omani monarchy & it's GCC allies;
He, alongside India, supported armed rebellions inside Pakistan;
He was close with Egypt's Israel normalizer and national enslaver Anwar Sadat;
He sided with the Serbs in Bosnia and in Kosovo;
He normalized relations with Iran between 1990-2003;
He denied Uyghur Genocide™;
He was friendly with many "atheist" socialist states;
And so on.
I don't even think some of these are bad things, I agree with Saddam on some of these lol, like lobbing missiles at the GCC.
But it's just funny how all this gets thrown out the window and low IQ sectarian NPCs have just accepted Saudi & Qatari media's reframing of Saddam, hyperfixating and exaggerating the 1979-1988 portion of his life.
I saw a brother make takfir of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan over protecting and allegedly building non-muslim places of worship, here is the academic response I wrote:

"Islam is a comprehensive system that addresses all aspects of life:
It is a government and an ummah,
mercy and justice,
jihād and da‘wah,
an army and an idea,
just as it is
sound ‘aqīdah and correct worship,
equally and without distinction."

Anyone Who Says Criticizing the Ruler Is Permissible Is a Khārijī
Let's take a look shall we.
1. Al-Nawawī (d. 676 AH)
Seeing as this individual quoted Al-Nawawī, it is only fair that I bring his view on the matter.
Commenting on the report of Usāmah b. Zayd concerning ʿUthmān [r.a], al-Nawawī explains that private admonition is preferable when possible, then states:
“This is all [permissible] when that is possible. But if admonishing and condemning the wrong privately is not possible, then let him do it publicly, lest the foundation of the truth be lost.”
