I keep thinking about the fact that global GDP is $100T+, while AI companies revenues are ~$100Bn.
This is 0.1%, which means 99.9% of AI's impact is ahead of us (even at current level of our economy).
It does look like we've not even begun to see the change that's due.
What makes me really feel alive is to take up a growth challenge, diagnose the right growth bottlenecks and then solve it with the correct 30000 ft strategic view as well as the nuts and bolts of tactical execution across product, pricing, sales, distribution, brand and demand generation
And my biggest blessing in life that i get to do it fairly often. And i will never trade this privilege over anything else
This is my first podcast in 5 years. About my fav topic: MVPs. I build MVPs using our agent Zen almost everyday. I'll see you next year on my next podcast appearance:
Chasing trendy things (aka jumping the bandwagon) is akin to purchasing a lottery ticket with your time since so many other people are doing the same, leaving no systematic alpha for anyone to mine. Who gets to the finish line, then, is a function of luck (+ capability).
Counterintuitively, alpha is more likely to accrue to people who're happily playing their own unique game.
Ask yourself: what valuable thing wouldn't happen if you don't do it, and then go ahead and do that.
(working theory)
money-related rules in your 20s :
1. never build a recurring salary system if you can.
if you have the ability to hold cash until it accumulates and get it in one large sum over 6-12 months and not monthly - the better.
2. lifestyle expenses under 10% of your income (includes rent, utilities, food etc)
if you make 5 lacs a month, spend less than 50,000inr
3. don't invest ANY money until you hit a consistent $10k a month - everything else either goes towards saving for a specific goal or purchase, travel, a course or training of some sort, or debts - no investments for the sake of investments (beyond an emergency fund)
4. proper written agreements when conducting business or any financial transactions with anyone - ESPECIALLY close friends and family
5. never lend money to a family member, either give it away as a gift or don't give anything at all
6. wealth accumulation focused on assets with high appreciation and great tax advantages, paired with assets that could cash flow within 5 years, supported by a really high cash flow income (business or job)
7. always invest money in whatever allows you to make more.
better devices for work, better work setting, better camera and a good background, decent mic, decent clothes, a gym subscription and nutrition
8. 10% of all income dedicated towards building "the lore" especially in your 20s - treks in nepal, bike rides across the country (and other countries), hyrox, marathons, iron mans, japan trip etc
9. treat all accumulated cash as runway and take bigger bets. give great people no-brainer offers to work with them (like working for free or even paying them to work under them) for a month just for a chance for them to hire you.
saving 20 lacs means 2 years of runway for that risky bet you've always wanted to take.
10. true for business or jobs - no-brainer offers to get your foot in the door of a really high-quality person and then charge a premium for the offered risk aversion + work quality and value showcased during this free work
11. wealth building in accordance with inflation adjustment + taxes
1 crore today would need to be 21.6 cr after 20 years for a compounded 10% growth AFTER taxes and inflation.
You need a lot more than you think.
12. almost all financial transactions focused towards maximising freedom and minimising things that tie you down or reduce risk-taking capacity (ie ownership or large immovable assets like a house, cars etc, or any form of large debts)
13. ask yourself - does this increase or decrease my future ability to not worry about work or a job and just drive a bus through europe for 9 months if I wanted to, and still be okay?
14. if you're in your early 20s and have 1) no debts 2) no family to support 3) parents who can support with a roof and food
then your risk-taking ability and habit should be 1000x the normal person - become competent and take as many shots on goal as possible.
15. being risk averse right now, being afraid to leave the miserable job or not making any money for 1 year should be the least of your concerns. take as many micro bets as possible.
16. wealth is not a number, it's a ratio -money earned/accumulated compared to spending. choose environments accordingly.
live in a modest locality among other modest friend groups to maximise happiness and fulfillment levels, OR live in ultra high rich neighbourhoods and hang out with really materially successful friends to sacrifice on fulfillment and happiness but gain the deprivation caused by lack of resources that motivates you to work harder.
17. find a partner who has the same principles and values regarding money as you do. lack of consensus and conflicting habits here will be the largest source of distress in your life.
18. do NOT build a life with someone who has different values related to money.
no wrong answer except every answer that doesn't align with YOUR value system.
19. never fall into the trap of believing others won only because of environment, resources or pedigree.
if you had an air conditioner, wifi and a laptop growing up - you've had 90% of the same resources as those a lot wealthier than you, and hence pedigree does not matter.
even if it does - operate from a place where you think it doesn't. don't let an easy answer steer you away from working hard enough out of your current situation.
20. But that motorcycle
My Podcast Agent now saves me ~1 hour per week
I subscribe to 20 podcast shows - which translates to ~5 hours per day. However, I only have time to listen to ~2 hours worth of material (even on 1.5x while I’m at the gym or doing other time pass)
Previously, for episodes I couldn’t listen to - I would spend ~10 mins (on average) to find the podcast transcript online (YT or otherwise), then upload the PDF into ChatGPT & get the summary output in my desired format.
But now, without writing a line of code, built using OpenClaw & a Notion integration through Composio, my Podcast Agent has automated all of this:
We come from a country where working at TCS is respected more than building your own thing.
On the 17th, we’re organising an AI Film Festival at the Qutub Minar.
A UNESCO World Heritage site that has stood the test of time for eight centuries.
With people who care deeply about stories and storytelling.
What once took massive production sets can now happen just by imagining.
At our last AI Film Festival in November, nearly 80% of the participants left their corporate jobs to pursue filmmaking.
We’re building Shark Tank for storytellers.
If you’ve always wanted to make a film but never had the backing or support to go big,
this is it.

The first few years of your career are for learning, experimenting, collecting L’s and taking damage. Figuring out what you enjoy and what you don’t. You don’t need to have all the answers, nobody does. Trying to sidestep this discovery process brings you great misery later.
It’s Agonising. And depressing.
@PMOIndia Sir please intervene proactively.
