Public sector bank employees are going on strike after strike, but the government will not even sit with them to learn their demands.

Even animals need rest to function properly. Bankers work six days a week with no life of their own left after work.

Five days a week is enough; six days is torture beyond words especially when the govt claims the most of India’s banking has shifted online.

Then you blame them when their mood is effed and they take it out on customers at the branch.

The three-day bank strike makes me sad because it affects so many people.

But after speaking to bank employees and understanding the pressure they have to work under, and hearing about the number of people losing their lives due to work-related stress, I feel differently.

It makes me really sad, and I support the strike.
