As we begin Yom HaZikaron, we remember Ronny Moché Ganizate z”l — an alumnus of Gan Ami School in Marseille, one of the many institutions the Yael Foundation is privileged to support.

Ronny fell in the line of duty as a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces, defending the Jewish homeland.

Ronny embodied a deep love for Jewish education and experiences and gave his life for Jewish continuity, community, and unity. With quiet strength, optimism, and an unshakable sense of responsibility, he gave his all — in life, in leadership, and ultimately in service to the people and land he so loved.

May his radiant smile and enduring values continue to inspire us all.
