What can be better than sharing Beethoven's "33 Veränderungen über einen Waltzer" (The Diabelli Variations) in performance and in words, surrounded by the beauty of the Colorado mountains?!
From the plains of Indiana yesterday to the mountains of Colorado today! Can't wait to be performing Beethoven's monumental Diabelli Variations this evening! https://t.co/D1OZ4fAfaQ
My very first performance of Beethoven's grand "Diabelli Variations" is coming up next week!
I have been so deeply nourished by the study of this monumental work, continuously amazed by its scope, the astonishing variety, the intricate details, touching the entire human experience in just about an hour of music.
And just prior to this recital in Steamboat Springs Colorado, I'm also very much looking forward to giving a talk on the work this weekend for the piano students at Indiana University!

And, just yesterday, a brand new review
"Big musical personalities"
"Recording of the highest quality"
"The spaciousness of the handling of this music by the WKS Trio virtually seems to touch on eternity."
