Ms. Rachel genuinely doesn’t deserve a platform. She doesn’t possess any sort of critical thinking skills, so truth in her eyes is whatever fits her social agenda.

In reality, this is such a non-story. Some 3yr old kid (Nevada) was reportedly hogging the ball, not being rotated, & pushing other kids around on the field. And when one of the parents went to a ref to complain, Nevada’s parents caused a huge scene and got into loud verbal altercations with other parents.

The police got called. The police declared it a civil matter & left. So the league asked Nevada & his parents to leave, & they left.

But of course, Nevada’s parents couldn’t leave it there. They went to social media and claimed Nevada, a 3yr old child, was kicked out because he was “too good”. And Ms. Rachel, being the abject moron she is, bought the story and amplified it. Shame on her.

Yesterday, Lula ostensibly became the first person since Brazil's return to democracy to win a fourth term in office. This is just three weeks after the country elected its most right wing legislature ever.

It was the first time a candidate has lost the first round and gone on to win the presidency, and the first time that turnout in the second round has exceeded turnout in the first.

Also unprecedented was the Supreme Court's last minute extension of voting hours. That decision was made by key Lula ally Alexandre de Moraes, who has now seized the passport of Lula's opponent after imprisoning his predecessor.

British media's response to all of this? Bovine silence. Brazil is a famously corrupt country. Honesty should not be the expectation. It may be that Lula's victory was legitimate: it is certainly not obvious that it was. How will we know if nobody asks the questions?

Remember this disinterest the next time that you hear a British journalist tell you about the importance of their role in 'protecting democracy' and 'speaking truth to power'. They have zero interest in either objective, and we should take zero notice of their words.

I’ve no real skin in the Israeli elections, but every time I see another ‘progressive’ left-wing tourist, waxing lyrical about how they’re flying in to Israel, a country which they probably haven’t visited in the last 10 years, to ‘save’ the country, it makes my skin crawl.

These are the same people who will look you dead in the face, and tell you that they agreed with rewarding terrorists their own state, while Israelis and Jews lay captive and dead at the hands of these same terrorists. I’ve no doubt if they had their way, Iran would just be a ‘friendly’ neighbour, and Hamas given a seat on the Israeli judiciary.

The only thing that matters in this election is that Israel is strong, and seen to be strong on the international stage.

So please, fly back to your ivory towers and stop trying to influence an election that you have no real skin in either, especially when you’re riding in on your white horse like some hypothetical, national saviour.
