The panel comprised Richardo Aiken (Caribbean Development Bank), Kasike Robert Pairman and Kasikeíani Ronalda Pairman of the Yamaye Guani Taino Peoples of Jamaica, and Chief Ricardo Hernandez of the Santa Rosa First Peoples Community and Chair of COIP. They underscored the importance of political will, meaningful and resourced participation, and concrete progress in protecting rights, territories and autonomy.
