@SaffronOlive My jank Ship kindred deck (look it up) uses quicksilver fountain and similar enchantments for islandhome. It also has Lost Isle Calling for flavor reasons (commander is Cirdan the Shipwright), so it is undoubtedly a t4, right?
@theogramme_dev I wish BloodNet was actually a good game so I could recommend it, but it's got all the bad aspects of an early 90s experimental game by an unproven studio.
And to top it all off, I made this cumbersome UI that was gonna permanently take up 1/3 of the game view to keep track of the player's journey. A key feature I wanted was a journal the players had to manually write in themselves!
@rockshardPhD@thejesguy Yeah he does have a very obvious line to win, but you can make it a bit of a toolbox. Last game I was not gonna succeed against an Edgar Markov deck but managed to lock the game with Platinum Angel and Mechanized Production.
Graaz is also a funnier wincon.
@incorrect_mtg My only gripe is that foundations will likely herald the full return of planeswalkers now, but at this point they're inevitable so... be happy with everything else the set brings.
@Rebell_Lily Well said, I wish more people would be willing to take a stand here. These conditions are blatantly anti-consumer to create ever more parasitic hype for every last penny spent.
Alllow proxies at your tables!
@nerdtothecore Makes total sense. Lots of commander cards have their strategy spelled out and offer both action and payoff. Older cards (usually) only had either, making the commander alone not enough to get going. The deck needed to synergise. It's card design I miss, but it's powercrept out.
@jadel4w Seeing your list kinda depresses me because AI feels like the only new issue on the block. All the rest I've seen people worry about/suffer from for about a decade now...
