A new report shows that buying PlayStation games on disc is usually much cheaper than buying them digitally from the PlayStation Store.

The price comparison looked at several PlayStation games and found that physical copies are often the cheaper option.

In some cases, disc versions were up to 90% cheaper than the digital version, especially after a game had been out for a while.

This is why they are pushing for all-digital: they want to get the maximum profit from this while controlling the market prices.

Et oui, acheter en physique sur console PlayStation est bien souvent moins cher que sur le store. Le fait de ne plus avoir le choix vous pénalisera au niveau de votre portefeuille, c'est une certitude.

Mais bon après tout c'est voulu. Chacun fait ce qu'il veut bien sûr, car vous avez encore cette liberté aujourd'hui, mais pas demain chez Sony.

Le principe d’une console, c’est l’accessibilité : un prix d’entrée abordable et un marché physique. Si le disque disparaît, exclusivités ou pas, c’est sans moi.

Et pourtant, c’est un joueur de la première heure qui vous le dit. Un écosystème fermé comme PlayStation est perdant pour les joueurs.

La pilule ne passera pas pour moi.

Sur ma ps5 j'avais le PS +, j'achète la majorité de mes jeux en physique et les petits jeux indé sur le Store.
Ce qui me plaît c'est d'avoir le choix de la manière dont je veux jouer.
Si Xbox me donne cet environnement oui je change d'office
