Most of these people don’t deserve to have you in their life anyway. Stop acting like they’re better than you and that you need to make yourself smaller for them. They’re often self-serving, inconsiderate, spoiled brats or just broken records repeating whatever talking points those people say

It almost always comes from people who think men struggle as VTubers because they “acknowledge struggles that don’t exist”

That’s fucking retarded. You don’t build a business on hopes and dreams. If someone tells you that, never take business advice from them again—they very evidently don’t know what they’re talking about

You need to know your audience, your content style, your actual skills, and the real hurdles in front of you. Being a guy in this space is next to fucking impossible. Almost everyone you meet will approach you with prejudice. They’ll assume you have ulterior motives, see you as a walking wallet, and rarely take you seriously. If you have an opinion, you’re “dangerous.” There’s no built-in audience waiting for you like there is for female VTubers—and yes, that is an overwhelmingly massive advantage that exists beyond a shadow of a doubt, no matter how much people deny it. The game is undeniably stacked against you

A lot of it isn’t your fault, and it isn’t the viewers’ fault either. Much of it isn't other VTubers’ fault either. Its just how it is. A lot of people just prefer female creators, and that’s okay. Does it make it way harder? Absolutely. But don’t let it eat you alive or turn you bitter

I’ve met so many incredible creators I genuinely love—many of them women. Yeah, you’ll deal with some truly shitty things, and the prejudice can be heartbreaking at times… but it’s not all bad

After five years of working my ass off, the community I’ve built has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I’ve met the best people I’ve ever known—and probably ever will. Was it gut-wrenching and painful to get here? Yes. I’ve lost friends, been betrayed, used, and hit with disgusting misandry time and time again. But I’ve also met some of the hardest-working, most deserving creators out there—people who push you to go the extra mile. Many of them are women too

Yeah, it’s fucking hard for you guys. I’m not gonna sugarcoat it or hit you with that brain-dead “YEAH BRO JUST STOP BEING A MALE VTUBER” bullshit 🤦‍♂️

It’s harder for us. But it’s not impossible. And personally? I think it’s worth it. Do it because you love it. Do it for the love of the game. Don’t chase clout and make yourself smaller for others—that goes for everyone

Also, a lot of people in this space are fucking stupid. Stop listening to idiots. Tons of streamers will say whatever keeps them in their clique, even if it means stepping on others or playing into the prejudice. Learn who’s real and who’s full of absolute fucking shit
