I would pay to see Rashford, Garnacho, Antony and Sancho go 1v1 for a spot in Ruben Amorim’s first team.

Those are four of the best wide attackers in the world. If I was Amorim, I’d keep 2 and leave myself the option to change systems to surprise opponents.

I wish we could somehow fix all of our problems by pulling some Barca levers. But we really can’t dodge FFP. The Glazers only care about profits, and they aren’t selling. Ineos is doing their best to fix things, but it will take time.

@markhoorocks @ajsteelo I don’t blame the fans for the strategy. I blame the fans (including myself) for the pressure and impatience. Everyone is relatively new. We don’t get success because we demand it, we have to wait until they figure it out. Protests and booing clearly isn’t helping us win.

@markhoorocks @ajsteelo The fans put the pressure on the Glazers to make big name signings. When preferred targets like De Jong didn’t come through, they reacted to fan pressure with Casemiro. Ineos has changed this strategy. Debt didn’t stop us from outspending everyone. FFP has. We need money in!

@Londonforplay I get what you’re saying and agree. The Glazers bought a business they have no connection to. Fans wouldn’t care about the financials if we were winning trophies. Because we aren’t, we blame the owners, despite the fact that they are spending more than others.

No amount of protesting will make the Glazers leave their business. Thankfully winning makes them more money, so they will continue to invest.

I just think the more patience, positivity, and support we give the team, the sooner we will find success as a club.

Ineos finally have a decent management structure in place at United with decent people at the helm. BUT, they are new, and will, of course, like our new manager, make mistakes as they find their way, just as the Glazers erred before them. Help speed their success with support.
