@AaronFlynn@VinnyMok@RealSkipBayless Yeah I mean a 10 point win is never really a “demolishing” win. Even if a team is up 20 and it gets cut to 10 by the end, to me that shows fight by the opposition so still wouldn’t call it demolishing.
@AaronFlynn@VinnyMok@RealSkipBayless You can‘t discount runs just because they happen in the last 2 minutes. In fact, that was the most telling run: Knicks defense has been forcing Spurs into bad shots. Wemby and Co. can’t get past them so they instead hope to get bailed out by the refs on bad shots.
@barstoolsports Not many fanbases in all of sports actually meaningfully impact their team’s performance. You think of the “12th man” seahawks fans with their deafening noise at home. Knicks fans are disrupting opposing team’s “home field advantage” by showing out, and that matters.
@reddrum88@barstoolsports Knicks fans will continue to act like this in the years after winning the championship too because this is the best fanbase in basketball — they take over opposing arenas better than any other fanbase and they deserve to celebrate for that, because it genuinely helps the team.
@DeuceMinor_@NykTerry meant to type *playoffs, not finals. They couldnt even make it to the playoffs last year with Wemby, Fox, Castle, Vassell, Keldon, and Barnes. A lot of your core just one year ago, and had a losing season.
@DeuceMinor_@NykTerry The Spurs absolutely know what losing feels like — they went 22-60 in year 1 of Wemby and 34-48 in year 2. Just because they were so trash that they didn’t even get to make it to the finals (with practically the same team last year) doesn’t mean they haven’t experienced losing.
@B5walt@RealSkipBayless Every part of this is nonsense. KAT was guarded by Wemby most of the game — of course he’s not going to try to shoot a lot of 3s over Wemby, especially when he can blow past him. If they adjust to put a smaller player on KAT, he’ll shoot more. Your other takes are stupid as well.
@JazzPressSec@HalfCourtHoops No clue, but given the game situation it’s pretty clear they needed a 3-pointer so maybe he was just warning against one possible action to set up that 3.
@FanaticShea@sny_knicks Makes perfect sense too. MSG prices are absolutely insane and it is much cheaper to buy plane tickets, game tickets, and a hotel in San Antonio.
I’m going to game 5 — if there is one 😬😁
@NetsDaily Perhaps you can do the simplest of “research” and scroll to the top of the thread to see what the conversation was actually about.
Notice that “road”

@NetsDaily Were the fans taking over opposing arenas for Nets games?? That’s what the majority of the discussion was about — the craziness and loyalty of Knicks fans, not if they sold out their home arenas.
@stingymicky@nenegwuapo@adryanashton And the fact that of that 20M+ pool, they didn’t show up for the Nets during the time that the Nets were better and had the *superstar* names like Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving — shows an impressive amount of loyalty, considering like you said there would have been the demand.
@billyho179@kylenabecker@ChrisBHaynes If the refs “don’t bite on players they know flop”, how the f*ck do you explain SGA getting 10+ free throws every damn game when he is the most talked about, known flopper in the entire league?
Refs absolutely fall for flopping by known floppers constantly. Brunson isn’t one.
@ImJahcoboYT@THEPRESTIGE602@nytospain@ChrisBHaynes There is *enough* context here, with the tweet stating it was “vulgar and profane”. Just saying the word flopper obviously does not constitute vulgar and profane — that should be blatantly obvious. Use context clues, moron
@SkyGodIV@Playoffcity I’m still in shock that THREE officials could miss such a blatant, significant jersey pull on a guy *driving with the basketball*. It’s not like this was off-ball movement, this is the guy with the ball. What the hell else are they looking at. I saw it so clearly in real-time.
@SkyGodIV@Playoffcity I actually agree with this. Wemby had a few flops in this game (not all of them actually called fouls), but this wasn’t one of them. This one is squarely on the blind officials, who were blind all f*cking game.
@SteveSoCrazy04@SpursCulture I don’t even want to think about a 10 footer with a reliable sky hook — I’ll let that be the problem for whoever he faces in the finals 4 years from now lol
@SteveSoCrazy04@SpursCulture I mean both of the Knicks bigs (Towns and Robinson) are very athletic and much stronger than Wemby. I think they did a good job of cutting off his driving lanes, and it’s not like he can just back them down into the paint — he’s freakishly tall, not freakishly strong.
