Victor Wembanyama on what he learnt about how hard it was to win the Finals against this Knicks team:
"One of the many things I learnt was that the margin of error is very very thin.
Our domination stints are absolute.
We absolutely dominated for most of the series, but our errors, our mistakes, are punished so hard that we can't have ups and downs like this so much..
The downs is the reason we lost.โ

2026 NBA Finals doing JORDAN NUMBERS ๐ฅ๐
Knicks vs. Spurs have been the MOST-WATCHED NBA Finals since 1998 with 19.6M average viewers through four games ๐คฏ
WE BACK.
(via @nielsen)
JB got a flagrant foul assessed after the review. But spurs can straight up just smush someone in the face with no call. @NBA whats going on here?! How bad do you want your NBA poster child to win
Should Victor Wembanyamaโs interaction with Jalen Brunson in the first quarter of Game 3 be upgraded to a flagrant foul?
NBA Senior VP, Head of Development and Training Referee Operations Monty McCutchen spoke on the play on NBA Today:
Jalen Williams missed multiple games including game 7.
Anthony Edwards was hurt for practically the entire series & Donte DiVincenzo missed the thing.
The Blazers won less games than the Hawks & wouldnโt have even made the playoffs with their 42-40 record in the eastern conference.
The Spurs have done absolutely NOTHING for anyone to be impressed with this postseason but somehow the discourse is all about the #Knicks โeasyโ path.
Iโve never seen a team that hasnโt won anything hated on this much before in my lifeโฆ& I love it.
