Exactly. When Quebec politicians ignore the Constitution, they are in Trump-imitation mode. And don't waste your time with debagting arguments that Quebec never signed the 1982 Constitution. As Pierre Trudeau pointed out at the time, it wasn't necessary for Quebec to sign that for it to be binding upon Quebec. In addition, Quebec governments avail themslves of the Constitution when they feel like it, such as use of the notwithstanding clause. Quebec is in. And that, and the rule of law, is what swearing an oath to the King, is about.
Last election, MAGA got everything they wanted. Trump as president, a Congress devoted to Trump, and a Supreme Court to back him up. With all that, they are still the most unhappy people in the country. I truly believe that their addiction to hate can never be satisfied. Ever.

Trump on Erdogan:
“I get along very well with Erdogan, even though you’re not supposed to.”
“I like him, he likes me. He’s really tough and very smart.”
“He’s been there for me.”
“He’s a friend of mine.”
Trump on Xi:
“He’s a very good person. Some people might call him the King of China.”
“Smart, brilliant, everything perfect.”
“My dear, dear friend.”
“An incredible man. What he’s done is amazing!”
