@wtflanksteak My kids ❤️ the show bc it’s their 1st Addams experience besides the animated movie, but as a long time Addams fan, I appreciate your hot take! I knew there was less excitement for me & it’s that lack of juxtaposition. But this school troupe is so trendy…
SEPARATE IS NEVER EQUAL x RUBY BRIDGES
Uvalde, TX: Prior to the infamous headlines, a town steeped in systemic oppression, was once a place Spanish speaking was forbidden. Until the KIDS walked-out. #NF#PB#KidLitPit ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽
Having spent too long on the shelves, Jackie, a not very scary 🎃, grows worried as all the other 🎃 are picked leaving her lonely. With time running out & her rind softening will she find a home to adorn in time for Halloween?
COMPS: The Dot x Netflix’s Spookley #KidLitPit#SEL
@gamavalle Here’s something interesting, but unpopular. I know everyone hates “new” math and the way it’s taught, but learning to teach this way for my students literally made my anxiety vanish! I finally understood numbers and math in depth, and, for easing that, I’m here for it.
Ana’s ⭐️amazing⭐️ #kidlit#giveaway includes her first 2 books with @GeryRdz & @irenafreitas, plus her newest book ABUELA’S SUPER CAPA, ill. @elisachavarri, coming 1/17/23!

@kaaauthor My 7 year old asked me if I’d heard of you today. I said, “well of course!” and when on and on about how you’re one of my fave authors. So fun I won cool points with her over our shared fandom! 📚
@BrookeEdu My school’s librarian has done an amazing job of collaborating w/teachers. She has “game-lunch” passes they can give out to motivate kids & does a great job of attracting kids that would’ve probably sat alone or aren’t into the popular cafeteria scene. She created a safe space 🥰
@BrookeEdu I’m not going say my school library was a special place to me, it wasn’t. In a low SES community, it was very punitive and unwelcoming. But my town’s public library was amazing! 🤩
