K: What does a C at Harvard mean? Does a C at Harvard mean the same as an A at--
J: Careful...
K: San Diego State.
J: We’re gonna get so many letters from SDSU.
K: No, no, no. They can’t read and write.
J: Have you been to the Statue of Liberty?
K: I have.
J: I never have, either.
K: (laughing)
J: I mean, I never have, either--
K: You never listen to me, do you?
Pair Programming is underrated.
It feels like a loss of time to have 2 devs work on 1 thing, but it is good for the brain to not have to do all of the work and build relationships at the same time.
Low understanding of how your component will be affected by the layout of surrounding elements results in a terrible time troubleshooting, and bloated, one-off individual component styles. Better understanding of CSS leads to scalability, perf gains, and confidence while testing.
And it's a phenomenal way to combat imposter syndrome by realizing "hey, I really do know a lot of stuff and I'm proud of my craft!"
Also you really should publish it because there's definitely more than one other person who will benefit from your knowledge 🌟
