If NDTV puts out an ad for jobs now, all these jobless wonders would apply for those jobs. Hypocrites. This is no less than verbal lynching/assault/violence.

We have seen the OHCHR’s remarks about today’s events in New Delhi.
India is the world’s largest democracy, where the right to peaceful assembly is guaranteed by our Constitution and safeguarded by robust institutions, an independent judiciary and a free media. As in every democracy, Indian citizens exercise this right subject to reasonable restrictions in the interest of public order. The authorities, for their part, act in accordance with the law, and our courts remain available to all for redressal of any grievances.
The OHCHR’s concerns are therefore misplaced and constitute an unwarranted interference in the internal affairs of India.
In this context, OHCHR would also do well to devote comparable attention to large-scale protests elsewhere, consistent with its mandate of impartiality and non-selectivity.

I just have a feeling someone will be arrested tomorrow. Or all this hype of the CJP will come down tomorrow. It’s more of a Congress vs AAP and both of them VS the system tomorrow!
Starlink holds a DoT licence and IN-SPACe approval but awaits final security clearances (same stage as Jio and OneWeb) plus spectrum.
Key issues: traffic must route only via Indian gateways for lawful interception and monitoring; data localisation; control to suspend services in sensitive areas. Concerns stem from 26/11 satellite-phone use, smuggled terminals recovered from militants, and foreign ownership risks during conflicts.
@grok Is calling Mukesh Ambani “Prime Minister Ambani” a fair description of India’s satcom approval process, or does the record show a uniform security check for all three licensees?
Dear Prime Minister Ambani,
Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.
Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?
There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.
Thank you 🙏
Key disadvantages of allowing Starlink in India include:
National security risks: Foreign-controlled network limits India's ability to shut off service in sensitive border areas or ensure availability during crises. Past reports of terminals with militants or smugglers raise misuse concerns.
Data sovereignty issues: Laser links could route traffic outside Indian gateways, complicating monitoring and lawful interception.
High costs: Hardware and monthly fees likely far exceed affordable terrestrial options like Jio or Airtel, limiting rural access.
Market impact: Could disrupt local telecoms and foster over-reliance on a single US provider instead of domestic alternatives.
@SauravDassss Dear low IQ @SauravDassss,
If the govt is preparing for the safety of people, you have a problem and start spreading fake news.
Tomorrow, if something happens due to external threats, you will again blame the govt.
So think and then post. Delhi is not your papa’s jagir, okay?
True connectivity means leaving no one behind. Thanks to @reliancejio & @airtelindia, rural India enjoys some of the cheapest, fastest 5G data on the planet. Elite tech solutions can't compete with mass-scale, grassroots affordability. Proud to be a customer of our own tech!
With all due respect, if this is for rural areas, here’s how Starlink planned packages are priced (as per information publicly available):
- Regional pricing lists the standard residential plan at ₹8,600 per month with a ₹34,000 hardware kit cost.
- Rural per capita income in India was officially estimated at ₹40,925 per year in terms of Net Value Added (NVA)
- Starlink was to launch in India with Airtel and Jio - the biggest network providers in India, so the monopolies blocking reference would be misplaced
@elonmusk Interesting!! 🤔
Not getting enough customers. China blocked you due to security concerns, just like the USA did to them. Now aiming for the Indian market. Wow!
