Great news for India and USA!

We have agreed on a framework for an Interim Trade Agreement between our two great nations. I thank President Trump for his personal commitment to robust ties between our countries.

This framework reflects the growing depth, trust and dynamism of our partnership. It strengthens ‘Make in India’ by opening new opportunities for India’s hardworking farmers, entrepreneurs, MSMEs, StartUp innovators, fishermen and more. It will generate large-scale employment for women and youngsters.

India and the United States share a commitment to promoting innovation and this framework will further deepen investment and technology partnerships between us.

This framework will also strengthen resilient and trusted supply chains and contribute to global growth. As India moves forward towards building a Viksit Bharat, we remain committed to building global partnerships that are future-oriented, empower our people and contribute to shared prosperity.

Over the past 11 years, under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Sri @narendramodi ji, Bharat's economy has grown from being the 10th largest to the 4th largest in the world. Strengthening the Indian economy across key sector, MSME, manufacturing, pharma, IT, production, and agriculture, India has not only progressed but has emerged as a significant global player.

The NDA government, without backing down or yielding to international pressure, has consistently acted with strength to protect national interests while ensuring benefits for citizens, businesses, and farmers. Even in the context of the Indo-US trade discussions, the government remained firm in securing India’s economic priorities.

At this important time, it is vital for every citizen to stand with the NDA government, led by PM Modi ji, which has prioritized the nation’s long-term interests in all global engagements. Unfortunately, some opposition leaders have made careless remarks on Indian economy in a manner that undermines India’s global reputation and seemingly serves American interests.

Making such statements for political gain, at the cost of India’s dignity and global standing, is deeply irresponsible. This is New India, no longer a nation that bows down, but one that speaks with clarity and acts in its own best interest.

As part of its economic vision, India, under the NDA government has steadily diversified its global trade partnerships, reducing over-dependence on any single country and creating a more resilient and self-reliant economy.
