No praise is good enough for this hero duo Riyazuddin and son who emptied their shop of mattresses to spread them on ground - to cushion the fall of people jumping off from the burning hotel in Malvia Nagar. What an act of humanity and quick thinking. In that chaos to think straight and save lives - this hero deserves full compensation by MCD and commendation by the govt and also a public felicitation at a prominent place in Delhi @LtGovDelhi @gupta_rekha

What is the big deal about the youngster Capt Bharat Bhardwaj proposing to his fiancée after his passing out and in front of the helicopter. What decorum has he violated. In fact it looked so beautiful bcs the young captain is so beholden to the army that he proudly exhibits it to his loved one.
Cmmon @adgpi cut this young dashing man some slack. Rather ask your top generals to talk less English and focus on work than chide these young dashing men.

As a jawan it's obvious you are incapable of learning even good manners - no wonder frustration comes out so searingly from from your venom. Look at your Generals like Dua or Dhillon, who are leaders and generous - the way they have said nothing is wrong. So how can you learn from a cop when you cant even learn from soldiers. Col! Please don’t teach me military decorum nor the difference between the two. Military decorum but definitely teaches respect while addressing somebody especially one in uniform. Your top generals and my friends and colleagues have told me there is nothing wrong in Capt action and by the way- no where in the world. I don’t write on hunches

A thoughtful article on the plight of Indian Americans in US having to alter their ways in face of racial backlash in Trump era. Digital attacks, stories of their earning more than average Americans & social ghettoism - forcing them to reticence and away from social spaces. But then, how many foreigners we welcome here of poorer countries, specifically from Africa. Home is home after all. Never thought of leaving India - all said and done is the best
