@jaathre @ravishankarb09@Victory_Cinema Single screens are not rentals. That's just been the system in Karnataka only, due to an unopposed monopoly for the producers. In all other states, even single screens work on percentage.
@NaveenR1997@Rahulraj8892@Victory_Cinema No it's about revenue-sharing. Other theatres work on a fixed rent, where they recieve X amount of money for the week. Victory functions on a percentage share basis.
@Kannada_BO@IamHCB@Victory_Cinema All the other states except Karnataka, run on a percentage-based model. Why should only Karnataka exhibitors suffer? This same producer-first approach is why 100s of theatres have closed in the last 25 years in Karnataka.
@_mrchaturvedi@Lionsgate@PicturesPVR Will the Toxic trailer be hard attached, considering both are Lionsgate releases? Also would be interesting to see the actual FLAT version on screen.
@GyaanDuo Well that should be the selling point of the film, considering Geetu's talent in writing a great grounded story. Hope there's more focus on the plot and the ladies' characters along with the core conflict.
@RandomGuy4731 With their budget they could go anywhere in the world, or they could just have erected larger, more lavish sets. The ones they have used look fine, but not as good as they could have been. The sets of the cities look breathtaking.
@RandomGuy4731@Vishalm65105698 This superiority complex among you Hindi cinema fans must decrease. Most of the movies with high interests in BMS actually convert to footfalls. It's in fact the bollywood that have the worst conversion. Even Dhurandhar got less footfalls than KGF2, even with high collections.
@ShettyManthan But idu nija nu irbodu, even the negotiation for Ramayana's OTT rights is still underway. Maybe Toxic ge avru keltiro rate yaaru kodtilla.
@RichardAnthonyi@Gowdru_Twitzz Movie is still in post production, it wasn't even done with shooting due the March release. Music production started a few days ago.
