Everyone should watch this.

President Trump in 2017 explained exactly why Iran is a problem to America and the world.

"Beginning in 1979, agents of the Iranian regime illegally seized the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and held more than 60 Americans hostage during the 444 days of the crisis."

"The Iranian-backed terrorist group
Hezbollah twice bombed our embassy in Lebanon. Once in 1983, and again in 1984.
Another Iranian-supported bombing killed 241 Americans, service members they were, in their barracks in Beirut in 1983."

"In 1996, the regime directed another bombing of American military housing in Saudi Arabia murdering 19 Americans in cold blood."

"Iranian proxies provided training to operatives who were later involved in al-Qaeda's bombing of the American embassies in Kenya, Tanzania, and two years later killing 224 people and wounding more than 4,000 others."

"Iran harasses American ships and threatens freedom of navigation in the Arabian Gulf Iran launches cyberattacks against our critical infrastructure, financial system, and military. The United States is far from the only target of the Iranian dictatorship's long campaign"

"The regime's two favorite chants are death to America and death to Israel."

Anyone denying a nuclear Iran is a threat to Americans or the world is a disingenuous hack.

Whether it was Mojtaba Khamenei or his IRGC handlers, the first statement from the current regime’s new leader confirms what the Iranian people have known all along: the Islamic Republic is incapable of change. Terror and repression are in its DNA. This latest statement promises only to continue the same insatiable bloodlust and chaos that has held our nation and the world hostage for decades.

By explicitly threatening our Arab neighbors with continued military strikes and doubling down on the regime’s proxy terror networks, the new Ayatollah sounds just like the old Ayatollah. We cannot appease or negotiate with a barbaric dictatorship that views the occupation of our nation and the destruction of its neighbors as a "divine" mandate.

It’s long past time to turn the page. Don’t throw this regime a lifeline. The only resolution to five decades of aggression is to end this regime once and for all.

Stand with the Iranian people in getting rid of this menace. Together, we can build a Middle East our children will be proud to inherit.

We finally have a Commander in Chief who follows through on what he says.

President @realDonaldTrump is a man of his word, and no one knows that better than our adversaries.

@PierrePoilievre Thank you for supporting Iranian revolution led by @PahlaviReza

Other administrations chose to sit idly by while Iran’s terror grew.

President @realDonaldTrump chose to act, and because of that decision, America is safer today.
