This table lays out the truth starkly. Over the past six years, nearly one lakh jobs have been systematically taken away under the cover of a draconian reservation policy. We all saw the scale of anger on ground from Jammu politicians over 40 odd seats, yet in comparison our so called politicians/representatives remain unmoved while this open misappropriation of jobs & admissions continues as recruitments roll on unchecked.

This cannot be normalised. Enough is enough. Something has to give !

Kashmir has about 60% of the population. Jammu about 40% percent. Yet JKPSC result, nearly 8O% selections go to Jammu & only about 20% to Kashmir.

The JKAS statistically results endorse almost every single word that I uttered on behalf of my party, in the Assembly. I had given statistical presentations earlier on the Facebook. The statistical projections almost overlap.

The single biggest problem in reservations still remains in not understanding the structural issues.

I will repeat, it is a problem of regional imbalance, perpetuated by an extremely unfair and biased reservation policy.

As long as we do not properly diagnose the disease and accept the disease as it exists, no remedy is possible.

There are some imperatives if there has to be a way forward.

First, a government with some spine.

Second, a government which can use the resources and information at its disposal to conduct research and examine and analyse the empirical evidence. They can do a scientific comparative analysis and come up with data backed conclusions detailing which region has been wronged. Governments especially in trying times like when we are a UT, can’t base their recommendations on gossip.

Third, a government and a polity which has the intellectual capability to understand the inherent structural imbalances, based on regionalism: @sajadlone

Top 10 all from Jammu.
Kashmiris ask a simple question. R merit & opportunity decided by religion now. If institutions push an entire region aside, people will lose trust in the system
