@venomjew @novatjerneld Yessss. I really wanted to write a Muslim x Jewish friendship. Jewish heritage is integral to North Africa, and the way Muslim and Jewish Andalusian refugees allied against the invading Christian forces from the Iberian peninsula is just so exciting.

Slowly losing my mind, but I can feel this book getting better and better with every new idea.

Still trying to whip the muddy middle into shape, but I sorted out so much about the start and the characters’ motivations, I’m very proud of how it’s going!

Spent two days brainstorming, and I’ve finally figured out the big stuff and created a plan. I’m finishing up my chapter-by-chapter outline (received my edit letter on the 20th), but the first chapter has been rewritten. Hoping to have at least 1 chapter done every day. 🙈
