Yes, Nikhat was beaten today but I have to say this: the draw she got was horrible. A 2-time world champion, unseeded?!?!

Why wasn't Nikhat seeded? Because the IOC does not recognize the IBA and hence her IBA-organized World Championship titles are not taken into account. Hence, Nikhat was not seeded and got no byes.

Only in boxing will you see a 2-time world champion take on the top seed and fellow world champion [in another weight category] in the round of 16.

High time the sports gets itself in order, really.
