This is the letter that @H_D_Devegowda placed on the table of the RS. In April 2023 he had urged PM @narendramodi to bring the #WomenReservationBill as soon as Parliament begins to function from the new building. What he couldn’t manage as the 81st amendment to the Constitution in 1996 he wanted to see it taken up on the historic occasion. The new parliament was still not inaugurated when he wrote the letter. PM Modi appears to have acknowledged his letter in practice. @VPIndia

Former PM HD Devegowda is permitted to place a letter written by him in April to PM Modi, urging the latter to consider passing the Women's Reservation Bill, before the 2024 general elections.

Unrelated but,if you love to eat fresh fish,always buy at KFDC fish outlets which are franchised by karnataka state fisheries department.Firstly the quality of both fish and stalls are of high due to strict regulations.Secondly most are owned by kannadigas. Please spread the word

I had asked a colleague from north India once - why there aren’t good public transport system in ur states like K’taka or elsewhere in South India. His reply was exactly this - ppl don’t buy tickets, if conductor asks, he’ll be beaten up.
Same behaviour is carried. Not acceptable
