Two kinds of die. One can mine. One is still real and emits nothing.

An unverified die is still real. It has an id, a netlist, an owner, a license fee. Someone can instantiate it and pay you in BNB. It emits no $WFR. Pretty metadata does not mint. A picture of the gates does not mint.

A verified die is one where a signer re-ran the vectors. The signature covers the author, the netlist hash, the cost in NAND and LATCH, the exact licensed dependencies, and a deadline. You cannot take that signature and staple it onto a different circuit, and you cannot drop the licenses the graded netlist used. Then, and only then, the die can be pointed, and its weight enters the daily split.

Dead logic does not get you there. Gates that cannot reach an output are not part of the design. They burn nothing and they weigh nothing.

So when you look at a die page, look at the flag before you look at the art. Verified can mine. Not verified can still be a part. It just does not earn emissions.
