Feels like healthy kidney removal , stillbirth, and my experience mean nothing to the Health Board — they’re just protecting the system, not patients. #MaternityCare#Stillbirth#PatientSafety
I am so angry, no lessons have been learnt.
@swanseabaynhs are still lying and covering for dangerous maternity staff.
I am going to restart my Sunday morning protests / awareness raising every Sunday outside the Singleton Maternity unit. This Sunday. Every Sunday.
Massive: A member of @SwanseabayNHS Maternity review confirmed this evening that it wasn’t in their ‘remit’ to report staff responsible for critical failings to regulators.
The utter scam and cowboy review commissioned and run by Health Board leadership covering for failings.
As families are meeting @SwanseabayNHS leadership this evening I have found that despite numerous horrific reports, highlighting care failings and major cultural issues that @SwanseabayNHS has not referred any staff members to @nmcnews.
Families had to do it. No accountability.
Dear @Jeremy_Miles,
I am in Cardiff Bay today. We have a good relationship, let’s meet in the Senedd and set out a proper Maternity assessment with family involvement in an hour.
I am confident we can do it, let’s save lives.

Welsh Gov admitted NHS failures & apologised to mothers publicly. Yet my solicitor’s cold letter called mine an ‘exemplary outcome.’ I woke in ICU no baby, no kidney. Poor investigations & weak reviews hide the truth. Every life matters. Mine too.😔
@Yazz2019 If they are anything like @CwmTafMorgannwg they only send the experts what they only want them to see stuff like this evidence letter given to my wife by a honest surgeon was blatantly withheld regarding what she found 5 months later after having a colon operation in PCH.
@DOckendenLtd Hi Donna, thank you so much for your kindness and support,it really means a lot. I’ve already made a complaint about the recent investigation and also reported feedback, which was unfortunately handled quite poorly. I’ve also raised it further with Jeremy Mills.xx
Yet the official report ignored this. Instead of accountability, it blamed me. Later it became clear the investigation itself caused hidden damage part of a cover-up to protect the system, not the patient.

During a home visit, my Band 7 midwife spoke to me directly about the poor care I’d received. She reassured me the truth would come out that no surgical team came from Morriston, only the obstetric who proceeded with full laparotomy.
Yet the notes are vague 🤥
#NMCnews
2 weeks after leaving hospital with no baby & one kidney, the NHS investigation painted me as ‘non‑compliant’listing tests I supposedly declined. All lies & false claims, no sympathy.
@NHSWales@NHSWales@WelshConfed@PublicHealthW@NHS111Wales @HealthandCareWales”
From emergency call to nephrectomy: 14hrs.I live only7 minutes from Singleton Hospital. Delays, noITU/vascular support & contradictory notes. Full laparotomy caused more damage & bleeding. This is all classed as ‘wider learning’.Who takes responsibility? #PatientSafety#NHSReview
I’m one of many affected by NHS maternity failures.
In 2019, I nearly died. My baby died .I also lost a healthy kidney.
My case shows the urgent need for transparency and change.
We need proper answers not a cover up.
We must speak out. #NHSmaternity#PatientSafety#Justice
carried out a full laparotomy instead of transferring me safely to Morriston, ignoring policy and operating in an unsafe unit without ITU or vascular cover.
The Maternity had the same issue in 2019, which tragically led to a woman’s death yet no lessons were learned.🤢
