The current media model is dead. I cannot be the only one tired of turning on to see reporters asking questions only to immediately shout down and interrupt their guests before they can complete a single point.
The UK needs its own @joerogan.
@guyverhofstadt So, the EU position is to refuse compromise in order to "preserve" safety and peace...thereby guaranteeing that none of the above is agree to at all in the event of no deal. You're an idiot.
It's obvious the current Remainer game plan is to carpet bomb the public with nonsense about Boris inciting violence.
Brexiteers need to make it clear that it is Remainer ACTIONS, rather than words like "surrender", that are stoking anger across the country.
#NeverSurrender
If you haven’t previously referred to the Benn Act as a ‘Surrender Act’, it is important you do so from now on. It is vital that we defend the rich, centuries-old tradition of robust political debate and use of metaphor from those who seek to shield themselves from all criticism.
What is perhaps more remarkable than an MP saying one thing and then saying the exact opposite is that is doesn't make any difference. Remainers will simply continue to pretend all of this was never said and never happened.
#Brexit#NeverSurrender
For three and a half years you’ve called us thick, old, northern, racists, fascists, just because we voted for #Brexit and we won. Now it’s WE who are using inflammatory language?
@guyverhofstadt His little adventure to solve division in the Conservative Party led to over 60% of Labour voters voting to leave. Explain that one, you clown.
@JohnGinsberg @pearlparky @NoRemainNoGain Those people would be free to work here even if the EU didn't exist. That's the benefit of having one's own policies. You can allow in who you please.
@JohnGinsberg @pearlparky @NoRemainNoGain That comment is economically illiterate. Anyway, I'm out. As I've said before, the referendum is over. We voted to Leave...three years ago. This debate has expired.
@pearlparky @JohnGinsberg @NoRemainNoGain For middle-class people who fancy the idea of a holiday home in Spain, it's great...but taken as a whole, it is not a good policy, especially for proper, working-class people.
@pearlparky @JohnGinsberg @NoRemainNoGain I'll share one last comment. The problem with free movement is that is crushes the wages of poorer people. This is precisely why the large corporations favour it. It also creates a brain drain in the poorer nations, bleeding them of youthful talent.
@JohnGinsberg @pearlparky @NoRemainNoGain I would be satisfied with a system that favours nobody, but yes, I would be happy with a system that favours the Commonwealth, especially those nations who, through colonialism, provided us with the standard of living we enjoy today.
@pearlparky @JohnGinsberg @NoRemainNoGain Yes, that is definitely needed. Personally, I think freedom of movement should be replaced with "ease of movement" ... a fair system that treats all humans equally, instead of favouring Europeans.
@JohnGinsberg @pearlparky @NoRemainNoGain In the real world, we cannot have freedom of movement with the whole planet. That being the case, I see no reason to allow EU citizens favoured status over the rest of the planet.
