A big thank you to Alex in Year 6 who spoke to us about the duties of an altar server and his mum who spoke about being a Eucharistic Minister. We also made beautiful glass stained windows including a range of bible stories, taking inspiration from the windows in the church.
Year 1 have really been enjoying the RE branch 6- Dialogue and Encounter. We have been learning about features of the church and roles of people in the community. Last week we visited the church and discussed all the features. More in comments.
This morning we were joined by Adrian for a travelling science show. The show was all about light and sound. The children had a fantastic time doing lots of different experiments!

The children planted wildflower seeds today in our science lesson. We have spent a lot of time over the last few weeks investigating wild flowers, so the children were very excited to plants wildflowers today 💐🌼🪻
The children created beautiful birds in our art lesson on Friday! It was amazing seeing all the different creations and use of materials. A lovely way to finish our bird making topic in art 🐥🐧🦜

The children have been doing super maths work lately, we are on a new topic of fractions and today the children split objects into two equal groups to make halves ✖️
