Today in History we have been looking at what life would be like as a miner. We have been talking about different jobs in the mine and what it would be like. We learnt that children had to work down the mine rather than going to school.

Today, we had a workshop from Catch 22. This was based around using apps safely, using WhatsApp safely and what to do in certain situations. #SafeOnline

This week we have celebrated World at Work week by welcoming visitors to talk all about their jobs. Today, we also dressed as what we would like to be when we grow up #Aspirations #Dreams

Year 4 had a brilliant World Book Day. We took part in a parents Booky Breakfast, went on a trip the the library and dressed up as our favourite book character #WorldBookDay @STHLibraries

In DT, we have been making frame structures. We have been using different materials and finding ways of making our structures more stable! #STANPower

Today, we have been celebrating Safer Internet Day. We had a special assembly and wrote down how we are now going to be safer on the internet #InternetSafetyDay

Today we celebrated National Handwriting Day. We created our own Grange Valley Comic Strips with our neatest writing! #NationalHandwritingDay
