Dear TikToker,

I don't know where you got this idea that that anyone calling out anti-LGBTQ+ policies in Middle Eastern countries is doing so because we want to bomb them. A lot of us just want their societies to stop oppressing them. That is why we speak up.

Could someone make this argument in bad faith? Maybe!

But when you say that anyone speaking up against the anti-LGBTQ+ policies of, say, the regime in Iran (which executes gay people) or Hamas (ditto) is a warmonger, you are effectively silencing LGBTQ+ Middle Easterners who want a better life.

Jewish patients are afraid to reveal they are Jewish in Australia, while Jewish healthcare workers report being excluded, mocked, and targeted for mentioning the October 7 massacre or Israeli hostages.

One intensive-care nurse resigned after more than a decade, saying management failed to act on colleagues' antisemitic social media posts.

According to a major investigation by The Australian, anti-Israel slogans and symbols appeared inside hospitals, including "From the river to the sea" badges and crossed-out Stars of David.

At Melbourne's Alfred Hospital, a crossed-out Star of David sticker was allegedly placed near the bed of a dying Jewish patient.

The investigation also cites several patients who believe they were mistreated after staff learned they were Jewish. Charlotte Frajman, daughter of an Auschwitz survivor, said a nurse's demeanor changed after seeing her records and that he unsuccessfully attempted to insert her IV four times, causing severe pain and bruising.

Orit Brand said a radiographer failed eight times before another staff member inserted the IV immediately. The report notes there is no proof these incidents were deliberate, but says hospital protocols limiting repeated IV attempts may have been breached.

Other allegations include a Jewish woman left for hours without pain relief after a C-section, an ICU patient whose nurse denied both the Holocaust and the October 7 massacre, and a grief counselor who criticized a woman mourning relatives murdered on October 7 for not expressing equal sympathy for people in Gaza.

If you ever visit Barcelona (I strongly advise against visiting in today's hostile environment in Spain), you will be struck by the loud silence and erasure of Spain's Jewish community and their horrifying fate.

Take something as obvious as FC Barcelona and where tens of thousands of people have watched their games.

The name of the place is Montjuïc, which literally means 'The Mountain of the Jews'.

As I was standing on Montjuïc and looking at the Jewish cemetery there, a reminder of the Jewish community on the hill, which was decimated in 1391, I could hear Jewish history screaming aloud, while Spain did not want anyone to see it.

I then went to Barcelona proper and walked through what was marked as the Jewish quarter; the signs mentioned the history of the Jewish quarter, with no mention of how centuries of Jewish life there came to an end.

I could not stop thinking of the great rabbis of Barcelona: Nachmanides, Rabbi Hasdai Crescas, Rabbi Solomon ben Aderet (Rashba), and so many others who have changed Jewish scholarship and history forever.

Yes, a few signs about Jews living here once, but not much more about how the 50,000 Jews of Aragon have transformed Spain, how they changed Jewish history, and the horrors they had been subjected to by the people of Spain.

As Spain obsessively attacks Israel, I don't blame them; I am sure they would love to forget about what they did to our people.

Their attacks on the Jewish state may help them forget the history, but they will not make us forget.

I want to show you a terror attack the global media won’t show you.

This is the terrorist arson attack on the Jewish community of Havat Gilad in Samaria last Saturday. 24 homes were damaged, 13 of them burned to the ground. Residents suffering from smoke inhalation were evacuated.

Two Palestinian Authority officers were arrested on suspicion of carrying out the attack.

This is the reality we live with alongside these damn terrorists.

An Israeli tourist in Bangkok says she was waiting at her table for her meal when she noticed a sign saying "No Israel tourist."

She called for staff and offered to pay for her drink, but would like to cancel her food order.

The manager came, all smiles and hospitality, and tried to convince her to stay. Finally, she admitted that she was leaving because of the sign on the door.

The smiles disappeared. He asked her if she was Israeli, and when she confirmed, he began shouting.

She said he demanded she pay an exorbitant price for her can of coke as he got closer in order to intimidate the woman who just wanted some food.

In an instant, her humanity was stripped from her because of the location she was born. That's the reality Israelis have to face: you tell us to get out of Israel and, when we do, you make sure we know we aren't welcome.
