Thank you to Scott and All4inclusion for my Ally of the Year Award, proud to accept it during Disability Pride Month. I don’t do the work for awards, I do the work because I love it and because it matters.
As the soccer world’s attention is caught by the World Cup, a group of unlikely fans from rural Kenya want to prove that the sport belongs to all generations.
78 years of the NHS – built on the back of Black nurses! 🖤✨✨
The NHS launched on 5 July 1948. At the time, the NHS faced over 50,000 nursing vacancies.
Caribbean nurses and midwives arrived in force to fill that gap — and without them, many historians argue the NHS simply wouldn't have survived its early years.
Today, the NHS is the biggest employer of Black and Minority Ethnic people in Europe, making up 24% of its workforce.
And to all those who care for us today and work tirelessly to help us…. we celebrate you all. 💙💙
Thank you for your service. 🙏🏾

I'm so proud of Yassin. He made Bristol and Britain his home.
He has contributed so much as a Green Party Cllr to his city and to the community in Lawrence Hill.
Solidarity in the face of this Reform fuelled racist hate.
Hope always wins! 💚
A brave group of hero neighbours rushed into a burning house to rescue 87-year-old Phyllis Day, who has Alzheimer’s.
Phyllis was asleep and unaware that a fire had broken out at the back of her home. She had also removed her hearing aids, so she could not hear what was happening.
Her daughter, Suzanne Wright, was alerted by her mother’s doorbell camera, which showed the hero neighbours trying to get inside. She was 15 minutes away at the time.
Few years ago When Actor Daniel Kaluuya talked about the internal conflict of supporting The England🏴 Team, how you cant afford to get carried away & enjoy the support, this was what he was referring to.
Even in victory and celebration this is what you get. 😕😕
