Match report from last night: 5-1 win for the Yeetboys. After going 1-0 down early on we turned it on and it was never in doubt. Goals from A.Lyons (2) and J.Grout (3) including a top bin screamer made up the 5. 2 more games left so let’s end the season on a high!!

Frustrating result tonight!

3-3 after being 2 goals up twice, goals from Lyons, Connolly and J.Grout directly from a corner. We really should’ve won the game but we lift our heads up and move on

Sorry for the lack of updates over the last few weeks.

We’ve had two games since we last updated you.
A 9-1 defeat to Vargins, less said about that the better.
Also a 4-1 victory in the Yeet derby, they don’t deserve to use the Yeet name!!

Sorry for the lack of team news tonight as everything was up up in the air with injuries and sore heads but we completed a comeback Southgate would’ve been proud of. 2-1 down with 12 mins to go and we turn it around and win 3-2 against Plastered FC. (1)

MD IX: YBA vs Sesh Club 7

Couple of injuries this week with Hannam coming back in as well as Will Golden returning from a long loan spell at Canterbury.

Time to build on last week and show what we can do.

Top top work tonight.
After conceding an early goal we fought back and won 2-1. James Grout with the 2 goals and scoring the winner with 30 seconds to go. Solid defensive performances today. 4th times the charm to build some momentum.

MD VIII: YBA vs Six Offenders

Tough game tonight to rebound from last week, need to be on top form.

Connolly comes back into the starting side with the only change.

5-3 defeat tonight. Shocking refereeing. Grout through on goal twice and gets taken out with no punishment and Corrigan getting sinbinned for getting punched in the face multiple times. We’ve taken it to the top and he will never ref in our town again.

MD VII: YBA vs Plastered FC

Few changes tonight due to injuries and commitments, Collier-Smith comes back in. Lyons drops into midfield and W.Grout pushes further forward.

DOTD: Corrigan, came on to help out but gave the ball away and took a deflection seconds later to score an OG

4-2 defeat tonight.
Disappointing especially from 2-0 up but injuries and lack of fitness played part. Lyons and J.Grout putting us ahead but unfortunately lacked professionalism.
MOTM: Wilkes in goal otherwise it would’ve been 10.

MD VI: Vargins v YBA

Few changes from last weeks win.

Hannam comes in and Berry FINALLY returns after his ACL injury. Attack stays the same and Corrigan faces a late fitness test on his right foot.

Need to build the momentum now and get a run going.

The bragging rights go to us after a 2-0 win. Top performance from all players. Alex Lyons opening the scoring from a superb team goal. We added a second from an OG from a corner. From minute one we were on it.

Derby day today against the league leaders.

Wilkes continues in goal tonight. Collier-Smith and Platt come back into the side. Lyons gets a chance upfront, and Mistry makes his first appearance of the season.

Hard one to take tonight. 5-2 defeat. Well in it but going for the winner/equalisers cost us at the back with the opposition quick on the counter. MOTM: Jack Connolly, bagging 2 goals tonight. A good side but missing players tonight made it tough.
