Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga talks the language of Rigathi Gachagua. Last week, Gachagua talked of bacteria and Raila Odinga died. Today, Kahiga is celebrating. I have never seen Luos do this for Kikuyus. The medicine is simple, Ruto MUST take 2027. We can't give the country to tribalists.
As our nation continues to mourn the passing on of the Rt Hon Raila Odinga, members of the Executive pay their respects by signing the condolence book at State House, Nairobi.
We honour Hon Odinga’s service to Kenya, his unwavering pursuit of justice and democracy, and his contribution to our nation’s social and economic transformation.
This clown the Nyeri County Governor Mutahi Kahiga who is a close associate of Riggy G, is now celebrating the death of Baba Raila Odinga claiming he was the enemy of Mt Kenya. The mountain needs to do away with such tribal bigots & warlords. They've have no place
Governor Mutahi Kahiga's utterances mocking or rather celebrating the passing of Kenyan Patriot Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga are not only distasteful but also reflect a dangerously divisive mindset. Such remarks tear at the fabric of our national unity and betray the spirit of leadership that calls for empathy, restraint, and respect.
At a time when the nation should be united in reflection and healing, your words seek to reopen wounds and breed unnecessary hostility.
The path to national cohesion lies in respect, peace, and unity — not in the politics of ridicule and division. Kenya is far greater than any single tribe or political affiliation!

SHAME ON YOU KAHIGA
For three consecutive days before his sudden death, Rt Hon Raila Odinga expressed shock at the capacity of human beings to be evil and heartless and the new low our politics had hit. This followed social media reports of his death and images of his “body” being received at the Lee Funeral Home. Raila believed this was politics at its dirtiest and someone was behind it.
Today, Governor Mutahi Kahiga came out with a very rare admission: that for him and his supporters, Raila's death was their prayer answered. Kahiga has long thrived on bursts of false and outrageous allegations, personal insults, fear mongering and ethnic profiling, especially when it comes to the Luo nation and Raila Odinga.
Still, none of his past public outbursts have been as primitive, insensitive and insulting as what he said today about Raila, the luo nation and the sharing of the national cake.
As Kahiga’s colleague, I am ashamed of his words. I am offended as chair person of ODM and and a believer in Raila Odinga and what he bequeathed our country, I take serious offense at Kahiga's outbursts.
It is time for all who value the unity of this country to take a stand and condemn this depth of tribal hate being champooned by Kahiga and those who think like him. We must all stand up and condemn Kahiga for his tribal chauvinism and being more consumed with himself and his tribe than with the nation’s well-being. Chauvinism like Kahiga's has set many nations aflame. They could do in Kenya too.
We all have a duty to call out Kahiga and demand that he appreciates that Kenya belongs to all.
Kahiga's sentiments are way off our values and aspirations as a nation.
Kahiga must immediately resign as vice chairman of the Council of Governors.

Citizen TV have confirmed our worst fears. Anyone with Mutahi Kahiga's phone numbers kindly share them here urgently. We also can speak claptrap fluently.
Reckless and insensitive statement which is not representative of the sentiments of multitudes of Kenyans from the mountain and the entire nation who honor his memory
Remarks by @GovernorKahiga on the death of @RailaOdinga. Reprehensible, insensitive, and totally uncalled for. Leaders have a duty to promote national unity, cohesion and integration. Ethnic bigotry has no place in a modern society. God bless Kenya.
