@MasterMaliq Muslim women can walk down the street fully covered in the West, and no one bothers them. Western women in a Muslim country can barely go out in public wearing a mini-skirt, because they are either harassed or expected to cover up.

@MasterMaliq I get the impression that some Muslims are more likely to attribute social problems to external factors, such as discrimination, islamophobia, the West or the media, than to problems within their own community. I wonder if there is room for self-criticism in islam.

@MasterMaliq In Islam, women must cover their hair with a scarf: why don’t men have to do the same? A man is allowed to marry 4 wives, but a woman is not. A man is allowed to slap his wife, but the reverse is not allowed. Women's rights are extremely underdeveloped in Islam.
