I met Mark Waldron as a result of the summer riots when we decided to bring different communities together to talk. Earlier this evening, I accepted an invitation to join Mark Waldron on one of his MOVE Netwalking events. I walked through the park, met loads of lovely new people, and had some stimulating conversations about business, taxes, politics, parenting, illegal immigration, racism, self-development, stereotypes, travel, media narratives and 1001 other things... all while absorbing nature, the trees, and a beautiful lake.

It cemented for me that true, there are some nasty trouble makers out there, but they're very small in number, and the vast majority of us just want the best for our society.

The evening finished with Mark saying he's looking forward to being invited to visit our mosque.

Maybe the riots were a blessing in disguise? I've never seen so much solidarity between people from different backgrounds.

This is Liverpool, and I love it!
