Movement for creative freedom and wellbeing where inventive people collectively shed more light on the question: HOW CAN CREATIVE PEOPLE BE AND LIVE BETTER?
"Naija to the world" is more than just a phrase. It's about positioning for a present beyond physical geography. Here we discuss how talents / workforce can position for the global market. #global#mentalwellness#mentalhealth#work
Getting your boss to say yes to your ideas can be a task especially if you're a junior. So how do you roll wth the big boys if you can't get past your boss? What our contributors @kayodeolowu & @MobolajiLaw say in this video might just be what you need this fine morning.
Don’t work alone, #creativity thrives better when you bounce ideas with others.
Sometimes, Nigeria can make you myopic. Expand your mindset, think of the future.

Scenes from our #creative and workplace #mental#wellness session themed “Societal and Workplace Cabal: Navigating External Influences on Creativity”. Huge thanks to our amazing contributors @MobolajiLaw and @KayodeOlowu and to @onewildtweet for the venue.
They shared deep insights from music to #football to #Law to #advertising. Some key takeaways:
If everyone is going zig, can you go zag? Thinking out of the box also means being able to deliver.
In all your doings, lawyer up.
Collaborate, get the right team.
Thank you to our amazing contributors @kayodeolowu and @Mobolajilaw for a fantastic session. They took us everywhere from fashion to music to football to law to advertising. We definitely chilled with the big boys.

Last words: @kayodeolowu It starts with yourself. If you can think it, it's possible.
@Mobolajilaw: the political space is a lot and is quite frustrating right now, I want young people should get involved. Get your PVCs #youth#Nigeria#creativity
Nothing is impossible. When you think it, just do it. You might win and you might fall. Just do it. Look at tech, they fail in the beginning but look at the figures now. As a boss, don't make the workplace toxic. #work#creativity#workplace#mentalwellness
It also means your journeys are faster. Even if you're being frustrated, you're not frustrated alone. Post covid, a couple of creative people are forced to work in isolation. This is also something to look at. #Creativity thrives better when you can bounce ideas with others.
Q: How do we protect our work? How can we do better with the laws that govern our work?
@Mobolajilaw: there's only one answer to that - get a lawyer. Trade mark. Copyright. Patents for innovations. To protect your interest and the work you do, get a lawyer.
@kayodeolowu: Beyond lawyering up, get the right team. Most creative people struggle with numbers. We just want to get the work out and realise you're undervalued financially. Collaborate. Get the right people around you and to work better.
Look for ways to move with the trend. You may not have the name but do due diligence. Evolve with the times. You need to let your work speak for you - as an individual and as a corporate. Stand out. International recognition is a process. #creativity#mentalwellness
Q: Sometimes, Nigeria can make you myopic. How do you expand your mindset?
@kayodeolowu: first is to know what's possible. What kind of future re you looking at? Are you looking at what's been done put here or what's possible out there?
@Mobolajilaw Think of the future. Look at the music industry, stars used to go to Alaba to distribute their music. Today artistes and music businesses are investing in A&R. Some artistes were stuck on the Alaba model and someone and some people thought to move away from it #music
