hello I am a big strong traditional manly man and I am having a full-scale public meltdown because the movie about pink dolls for 8-year-olds did not meet my expectations
@fimechanic I did it before moving abroad but I gave 60% of my wardrobe to my mom & sister (same size) and donated the rest. Valuables we sold on FB marketplace. We were in a hurry so priced it all to sell fast but had it all done in like a week!

I dunno y'all. There has to be a better way than this. There has to be a better way than a 17 year old writing their college essay about cleaning blood off their marching band uniform.
This time of year I read between ten and twenty college essays a day. You learn to categorize them: a tour of my room, my sports injury, a person that matters to me. A genre I wish I read less is "I survived a school shooting." I've read way too many of those. I read one today.
I just finished reading “Consumed” by @AjaSaysHello and I cannot recommend it enough. It covers consumerism and how it ties colonialism, racism, sustainability and how we can do better. Really learned a lot and encourage others to check it out.
