Tigray ; Traditional medicine alert.
With a heavy heart, I share a deeply painful experience this six month old infant has endured in the hope that no other child or parent suffers similarly. As can be seen he has penile amputation by a traditional healer.

It wouldn't have been possible if to wasn't for HPN and the impact is even growing the our recent agreement to start point of care ultrasound in very remote and hard to reach areas.
Long may it continue!

Today, we continue to speak out: the ceasefire hasn't ended the horror in #Tigray.
Occupying forces from Amhara & Eritrea continue unspeakable atrocities, with weaponized sexual violence that defies the so-called peace agreement & tears at the fabric of Tigrayan society. @hrw
